Lindsay, Cassie and Gaby, first met at the Sephora U.S. Headquarters in San Francisco, where the three professionals grew their careers in the beauty industry, establishing a friendship that would bring View from 32 to fruition in 2022.
A nod to the famed 32nd floor of the iconic retailer that gave the trio an unparalleled perspective of the industry as well as access to some of its most important leaders, executives, founders, investors and creatives, the name View from 32 pays homage to their combined time of over 25 years at Sephora. During this enriching period, they helped launch some of the biggest names in beauty, for example, Sol de Janeiro, Youth to the People and Drunk Elephant. After their time there, they went on to sharpen their skill sets and broaden their networks at MAC, Tarte, Briogeo, The INKEY List and others.
The Business of Beauty
Cassie’s entrepreneurial roots sparked an early passion for merchandising, which led her to the luxury fragrance world in 2006 and set the stage for her 19-year career in beauty. She then joined Sephora—a lifelong dream of hers—collaborating creatively with brands across the spectrum, helping them develop innovative and impactful strategies that were also financially sound and profitable. After over six years, she moved to New York and became the Skincare Director for Tarte Cosmetics, while also working with other brands in the parent KOSÉ group in Japan.
In 2018, Cassie became VP of Strategic Marketing at Briogeo Hair Care, where she helped scale the brand. She co-founded View from 32 while consulting for her alma mater, Sephora. Known for turning abstract concepts into flourishing businesses, Cassie has become one of the most sought-after talents in the industry.
The Trailblazer
With nearly 20 years in retail, Lindsay is an experienced retail leader who is driven by her passion for cosmetics and keen eye for the industry's rapid growth. She seamlessly transitioned her career from fashion to beauty, starting as a buyer at Bloomingdale's, where she mastered the fundamentals of retail and merchandising. She then joined Sephora, where she managed an expansive portfolio of brands across brick & mortar, Sephora inside JCP, and e-commerce, gaining invaluable insights into the beauty business. One of her most rewarding projects was helping spearhead the Clean Beauty Movement at Sephora.
Lindsay advanced to senior roles at MAC as Executive Director of direct-to-consumer band at The INKEY List as Head of e-Tail, honing her expertise in online and consumer-driven data. Now based in Los Angeles, she leverages her leadership and deep digital acumen to help beauty brands thrive in the e-commerce space.
The Storyteller
With over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, Gaby is a natural storyteller and brand strategist with a sharp eye for emerging trends. Originally from El Salvador and now based in Brazil, she began her career at Sephora’s San Francisco headquarters, where she rose to the role of skincare buyer. During her tenure, she played a key role in expanding Sephora’s Clean Beauty category, working closely with brands like Farmacy and Youth to the People. She also spearheaded the launch of the retailer’s Wellness category, shaping the future of beauty and self-care at Sephora.
After 12 years at Sephora, Gaby moved to Paris to take on the role of Digital Lead for Estée Lauder Companies in the EMEA region. With expertise in buying, e-commerce, business leadership, and brand development, she brings a strategic and creative approach to the beauty industry. Fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, Gaby’s global perspective and innovative vision make her a driving force behind View from 32.
The Problem Solver
From brick-and-mortar to e-commerce, Jessie has built a dynamic career in retail. Starting at Williams Sonoma, she mastered both traditional buying and online retail, eventually becoming an E-commerce Merchant at Sephora, where she helped develop and grow the clean skincare and wellness category into one of its top performers.
Jessie later led sales strategy and trade marketing at Lord Jones, a pioneering CBD brand, before excelling in various roles at Herbivore, culminating in VP of Digital and Growth. Now, as the inaugural hire at View from 32, Jessie leverages her expertise in sales, marketing, digital strategy, and paid advertising to drive client success.
